Secondo il Mirror, Emma andrà a Cambridge il prossimo Settembre a studiare Filosofia (come si diceva a Maggio, molto prima dei viaggi americani); pertanto, i prossimi due film (le cui riprese cominceranno nel prossimo Febbraio e dovrebbero durare più di un anno, fino a Maggio 2010) subirebbero una piccola rivoluzione nelle scalette e nei programmi proprio per far coincidere le scene più importanti con le vacanze di Emma, per permetterle di non interrompere i suoi studi.

Questo potrebbe anche mandare all’aria l’idea che c’era ultimamente di filmare alcune delle scene tra le colline della Scozia, quelle di Harry e Hermione latitanti nei vari boschi e sottoboschi del Regno Unito, presumibilmente.

Perché anche se l’ultimo shooting avrà un buget di 150 milioni di sterline, niente può essere sprecato.

Ovviamente è solo un rumour, niente di confermato. Anzi, in palese contrasto con le intenzioni di Emma fino a poco fa sembrerebbe (prima solo hp, poi solo università).

Allora, ricapitoliamo:  un italiano, un inglese, un francese. A chi tocca ora? All’australiano.

Questo è Angus Willoughby, 19 anni, australiano appunto. L’ultimo (anche se a quest’ora sarà già il terzo o quartultimo) rumour che impazza il rete vuole che lui ed Emma escano insieme.

Si sarebbero conosciuti al R.A.D.A. l’estate scorsa (questa storia l’ho già sentita….) e ora avrebbero addirittura in programma di andare in vacanza insieme nel sud-est dell’Australia, a zonzo tra spiagge e vigne.

Ma la parte più divertente di tutte è questa:

Willoughby annovera tra le sue capacità il maneggiare armi, la cucina, la boxe e il pianoforte classico.

Segnalo l’articolo in italiano di MTV, con un commento così progressista che concede gentilmente ad Emma il permesso di uscire con chi le pare, eventualmente.

Come anticipato da un blogger alla fine della settimana della moda Parigi, Emma è andata negli Stati Uniti per visitare alcune università della Costa Est del paese, in previsione di un suo possibile trasferimento all’inizio del prossimo anno accademico per frequentare un corso di Arti Liberali.

In questi giorni sono usciti tantissimi articoli e non è chiarissimo quante e quali università abbia visitato, ma di certo tra queste ci sono Harvard (Massachusets) e Yale (Connecticut).

C’è anche, FORSE, una foto di Emma, dall’aeroporto di Boston dopo il suo arrivo, forse. Oppure forse era la sua ripartenza dagli States verso casa. Come avete capito non è molto chiaro, credo, e probabilmente guardando la foto vi renderete, magari, conto del perché.

Quella si suppone essere la matrigna (confronta Giles Show alla London Fashion Week). Ma magari no.

Il primo articolo, datato 3 Ottobre, viene da Northfield e riguarda il Carleton College, ma non sembra che Emma ci sia fisicamente stata.

Succede tutte le volte che una stellina di Hollywood o un cantante conosciuto compie 18 anni. In una conversazione estemporanea, qualcuno casualmente si lascia sfuggire di aver sentito che [inserire qui il nome della celebrità] ha in programma di iscriversi a [inserire qui il nome del college]

E dopo la macchina del rumour parte in quarta.

Questa volta, il Carleton College si è trovato al centro of a veritable storm of gossip. Argomento: se o meno Emma Watson, la ben conosciuta attrice che interpreta la controparte di Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, nei film della saga, abbia in programma di frequentare i corsi del college.

“Ho sentito questa voce per due anni, non è una cosa nuova,” dice Meg Otten, il responsabile delle ammissioni a Carleton. “Continua ad accadere e ad accadere e ad accadere“.

Fino a tal punto che Otten, il quale normalmente non fornisce informazioni sulle richieste di ammissione, si sente costretto a dissipare la tempesta di dicerie.

L’annuncio di settembre da parte della 18enna star di Harry Potter che sta considerando diversi corsi di Arti Liberali negli Stati Uniti non ha contribuito a spegnere le voci.

Carleton non è la sola. Michael Kyle, il vice-presidente e capo delle iscrizioni al St. Olaf College, afferma che il St. Olaf si è ripetutamente trovato coinvolto in voci del genere, per quanto riguardava un membro dei Backstreet Boys.

Kyles accusa i social networking come Facebook o MySpace per la diffusione di questi gossip.

“Uno studente lo viene a sentire e subito la cosa prende vita,” ha detto Kyle. “Sicuramente l’era digitale accelera queste voci. Non è che ci sono più o meno voci, o che siano più vere o meno vere di prima, è che vengono diffuse con un’efficacia molto più alta.”

Sebbene la Otten ritenga questi gossip generalmente innocue, simpatizza con i divi che si trovano al centro di queste intese speculazioni.

“E’ divertente in un certo senso, e certamente riflette il modo in cui noi come società siamo totalmente ossessionati dalle celebrità,” ha detto la Otten. “Ma proprio per questo stai dalla loro parte - non possono uscire per mangiare qualcosa, a fare la spesa, o in un college senza ricevera questa straordinaria attenzione.“

Ma ora il viaggio di Emma si fa veramente intenso.

La rivoluzionaria rivoltante rivelazione è del Telegraph. Originale + Traduzione.

The 18-year-old wants to concentrate on her degree after finishing filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on which she starts work early in the New Year.

“I would like to go to university and complete a degree and so that will mean a break from acting,” Miss Watson, who has made more than £10 million thus far from the Harry Potter franchise, told The Telegraph.

“I’ve always tried to balance my education with my acting career, but I just don’t think it will be possible to juggle it with a degree course. I have a need now to study.”

The actress, who was first cast as Hermione Granger at the age of nine and was educated at Headington School in Oxford, is currently on a gap year before starting university either in this country or the United States.

“There are excellent universities over there and I’m applying at the moment,” she said. “If I stay in this country I will read English Literature, and if I go to America I would do a Liberal Arts programme.”

After she completes work on the last Harry Potter film, of which there are two parts, Miss Watson has no further acting commitments scheduled. Her spokesman denied she is giving up acting for good but confirmed that “any future projects will take second place to University. Her first commitment will be to her course”.

Whilst her co-stars in the Potter films, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, have signalled their wish to pursue a career in acting, Miss Watson has in the past emphasised other interests. These include, interestingly, fishing and she has in the past helped raise money for the Wild Trout Trust.

In April, when she turned 18, she gained control of her finances and it was revealed recently that she had purchased a £1 million chalet in the ski resort of Meribel, France.

The teenager, who ranks as the 55th wealthiest young person in the country, speaks fluent French having lived in Paris until the age of five.

Emma, che un po’ di beneficenza l’ha già fatta, è passata meritatamente alla fase Magellano. Emma è stata intervista dal sito web Alloy.com, ed ha parlato parecchio di Hermione, di Pauline e dei suoi impegni passati in Ballet Shoes (che esce in questi giorni in America).. e qualche confermona anche sul suo futuro.

For the past seven years, we’ve equated Emma Watson with Hermione Granger. But recently, Emma has followed in the footsteps of her Harry Potter costars, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe, by moving on to other movie roles. First up: Ballet Shoes, a TV movie for the UK’s BBC. (US fans can check it out September 2 on DVD!) We chatted with Emma about slipping into her new role, working without the Potter boys, and much more.

So what was it like doing something other than a Harry Potter movie?
It was wonderful. It was really nice to do something completely different. Obviously, we did it for the BBC, which is a British television channel. It was done in a TV format, so it was completely different to being on a massive big Hollywood blockbuster. We shot four scenes in one day and we were working six-day weeks. It was much more the crew and it was very different but I absolutely loved it. It was different.

What was it like working without Rupert and Daniel?
It was nice to be with lots of girls. It was a really nice change because usually on Potter I’m with guys all the time and I was with Lucy [Boynton] and Yasmin [Paige] and Emilia [Fox] and Victoria [Wood] everyday. That was really nice. It was lovely.

How did it feel doing a more straightforward film with no special effects?
Yeah, that was actually lovely. That was really nice not to having to worry so much about the technical aspect of it, just focus on the acting.

What was it like playing Pauline as opposed to Hermione?
One of the great things is that in playing Pauline, I got to dress up and be much more girly. She’s an actress, I got to dress up as Alice in Wonderland and there’s a part in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Then she’s in this film that’s a period piece, so I got to wear a corset and an old dress and a wig. I got to have so much fun with all the ’30s make-up. It was really good fun to do something that was out of school uniform and out of jeans and a t-shirt and something completely different. It was lovely.

Who do you relate to more: Pauline or Hermione?
It’s such a hard question because I relate to both of the characters so much. I relate to Pauline in terms [of] her experience, this overnight fame that she experiences is very similar to what I went through when I was younger; her insecurities and how to try to be an actress and worrying what people will think, or if she’s any good. I don’t know. I can really relate to all of that side of her, but then also with Hermione, I relate to wanting to escape and books and school work. I’m also quite a tomboy, so I relate to that. She’s very determined and loyal. I really relate to both of the characters.

Each of the girls in Ballet Shoes has a special talent. What’s yours?
I actually love arts. I love to paint, I love to draw.

What made you wait until recently to take on another role?
I had other parts that came up, but I just didn’t want to do anything for the sake of it. It’s important that I take on other roles, just generally, because otherwise people will just think of me as Hermione for the rest of my life. But I just wanted to wait for the right thing and something that I really wanted to do. I work so hard, and I’m in school, and I’m doing publicity. I’m keeping myself so busy as it is. It had to be something that I really wanted to do. Luckily, Ballet Shoes was short enough that I could fit it in between publicity for Harry Potter, school work, and obviously filming. I was just lucky that it worked out like that.

What kind of parts would you like to play in the future?
There’s nothing in particular that I’m looking for. But Pauline, in order to audition, she does some Shakespeare and she’s in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. For that, I got to read Puck’s speech from a A Midsummer Night’s Dream. I [would] actually really love to do some Shakespeare. I’d love to do some stage work. I’d love to try that. I actually sing as well, so I’d love to do a movie where I got to use that or, I don’t know, anything! I’m very open. There’s nothing in particular that I’m chasing after.

A while back, there was a rumor that you were the new face of Chanel. Do rumors like that get spread about you a lot?
Yeah, I do feel like sometimes the papers just wake up one morning and they don’t have anything to write so they’re just saying, “What shall I write about today?” I don’t know how to compare it with the American tabloids, but it’s pretty dire over here. They just write whatever they really feel like. But generally I keep out of [the tabloids]. I’m working so much, I’m at school so much, I’m on publicity so much, I don’t really have time to get chased around by the British tabloids, so it’s all right.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s been said about you in the press?
There’s been nothing that weird. They just report that I’m gonna be in different films that I’ve never even heard of before or that I’m pretty much attending every single British public school in England, which of course I’ve never even heard of or stepped foot in it. It’s reported every week that I’m dating someone different from the Harry Potter cast, of course. Generally, I think they have you dating a different guy every week. It was like a three week period, which was quite funny — nothing very hurtful or harmful. I’m quite lucky. Just in general not having the facts straight.

What’s up next for you?
I’m applying to university in September. I want to study English literature.

S’era detto che il primo trailer, così sospirato, di Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince sarebbe stato mostrato nei cinema all’uscita di The Dark Knight, film della saga di Batman. Ma ora la WB ha reso noti i nomi dei trailer che accompagneranno i film, e ComingSoon ci informa che HP non è tra questi:

There’s been much speculation that we’ll be seeing the first trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but it looks like Harry Potter fans will have to wait a bit longer for the first footage. Our guess is it will be shown with the studio’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars on August 15, but that’s not confirmed.

Ci sono state molte speculazioni sull’eventualità che avremmo visto il primo trailer di HBP, ma sembra che i fans di HP dovranno attendere un po’ di più per la prima anteprima. La nostra aspettativa è che verrà mostrato durante Star Wars: The Clone Wars il 15 di Agosto, ma non è stato confermato.

Sapevate che Emma Watson si tiene in forma giocando a rugby?

No?

Se non lo sapevate, è normale. Emma non gioca a rugby. Ad hockey su prato, casomai. Usciva con il rugbista Tom Ducker, si diceva, al limite. Inoltre non so quanto i F.lli Warner possano prendere così a cuor leggero la possibilità concreta di una Hermione su una sedia a rotelle. La corporatura di Emma sembra una seria candidata ad assumere forma ovale ben prima del primo placcaggio.

Queste ovvie considerazioni tecnico-tattiche (cit.) non hanno però impedito che la Federazione Femminile di Rugby Italiana, e prima di loro una rivista inglese, pubblicasse la rivelazione dell’anno: “Emma Watson si tiene in forma grazie al rugby“. Non so come mai non abbiano detto di Hermione cercatrice.

La cosa veramente interessante è la foto che nell’articolo iene scelta per presentare la versione rugbistica di Emma. Una Emma dinamica e sportiva come mai la si era vista:

Un portavoce di Chanel smentisce definitivamente la notizia dell’assunzione di Emma come testimonial:

Contrary to recent press reports, she has not written scripts for any films based on the Harry Potter ‘prequel’ (recently written and sold for charity) or otherwise, as part of the theme park or any other purpose

J.K Rowling continua ad essere di grande supporto e aiuto coi nostri progetti per il parco a tema “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” ad Orlando. Contrariamente alle ultime comunicazioni da parte della stampa, non ha scritto alcun copione per nessun film basato sul prequel di Harry Potter (recentemente scritto e venduto per beneficienza) o su altro, che costituisca parte del parco a tema o di qualche altro progetto.

Oxford non è mai stata così rumorosa di recente: Napoleon & Betsy, Chanel, Homerton. Aria croccante al punto giusto, ma troppo fritto fa male alla pazienza.

Sulla scia dello stupore per la portata della notizia, non ho ben specificato che anche la rivelazione del Mini-Movie di Harry Potter tutto nuovo di zecca segue il liet motiv di questo periodo: assolutamente nulla di confermato e definitivo. Ma nemmeno per sbaglio. Trattasi di rumour.

Però dai, su col morale: le brutte notizie finisco qui.

Shaw Alder di MTV, sul suo blog prova a fare chiarezza sulla faccenda per quanto può; e quello che ha potuto è stato fare un paio di telefonate coi rappresentanti degli Universal Studios. Più che quello che gli è stato riferito, è molto interessante quello che non gli hanno detto.
